Arielle is an art school dropout, serial labeler, and founder of trendprescient, an art and interior design studio where she brings more adventure, personality, and meaning into people’s homes.

A published authority on Nintendo and on gender representation in Final Fantasy, Arielle believes creativity and play make the world a better place, and applies this philosophy to everything, including award-winning work in corporate communications and academia, where creativity and play can be notoriously hard to come by. She revels in being an outsider, finding connections, and exploring those themes in her work.

Arielle holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Cincinnati and a master’s degree in communication from Northern Kentucky University. In her undergraduate work, she explored the German language, interviewed a jazz musician and Olympian, and got so burnt out doing art for grades that she took a whole year off drawing altogether. It was a dark time. In her master’s degree program, she charted a personally meaningful path, researching communication strategies for revealing and concealing eating disorders, exploring gender representation in Final Fantasy VII, and connecting the history of Nintendo’s unique gameplay experiences to their innovative controller design.

As a communications manager, Arielle blends her rebel skillset with her love of writing, design, and play (no, really) by amplifying employee voices and deconstructing business jargon. She approaches art with the same philosophy and a “nerdy maximalist” style, creating interior designs, paintings, and stained glass that reflect her clients’ personalities and help their spaces tell a story.
